Fox picks up 13 episodes of new SciFi series Beyond
Fox has picked up thirteen episodes of a new SciFi series titled Beyond. Ain’t It Cool has the full scoop on the new series.
It’s about the new director of the Jet Propulsion Labs and his efforts deflect a meteor carrying a deadly virus.
The pilot starred superhot former VH1 veejay and Adam Carolla sidekick Rachel Perry, as well as Seth Gable (“The Da Vinci Code”), Merrin Dungey (“Alias”), Adrian Lester (“The Day After Tomorrow”), C.S. Lee (“Dexter”), Jonah Lotan (“24”) and Rachael Stirling (“Still Crazy”).
A reliable source tell us Fox just bought 13 episodes.
But just how far can a series go that is working on deflecting a meteor. The end result is either it crashes or they are successful. If they succeed, there wouldn’t be much of a series left to do. But if they aren’t successful and it crashes, it sounds like a series that could get pretty spendy pretty fast.
